南阿蘇ビジターセンターリニューアルオープン！Minamiaso Visitor Centre is reopened with new exhibition space!

阿蘇ジオパーク東の拠点施設、南阿蘇ビジターセンターがリニューアルオープンいたしました！阿蘇の自然や火山の成り立ち、草原と人々の暮らし、生き物の暮らしなどを鮮明な写真やジオラマ、ハンズオンなどで楽しく学べる施設です。子供から大人まで楽しめる充実した書籍が揃う図書スペースは、明るい太陽の光が降り注ぎゆったりと過ごせる空間となっております。また、約5ヘクタールの隣接する阿蘇野草園は、阿蘇に生息する植物を自然に近い状態で観察する事ができ、園内を歩くと虫の声や鳥のさえずりを楽しむことができます。

Minamiaso Visitor Centre, one of base facilities in Eastside of Aso Geopark is now reopened with new exhibition space! Beautiful pictures, diorama and hands-on learning tools give you a hint to explore Aso’s magnificent nature! Rich reading materials for kids and adults are also available in its library. 5 hectare Wildflower Garden next to the centre is a place for visitors to observe the plants of Aso in a near-natural setting.
Enjoy seasonal wildflower and songs of wild birds and insects!
