阿蘇火山（火口周辺見学）にお越しいただきます際には、
必ず最新の火山活動に関する情報をご確認ください。

2014年11月25日現在、阿蘇山の噴火警戒レベルは「２」火口周辺規制となっています。（2014年8月末より継続中）

地元防災協議会により阿蘇中岳火口周辺に規制が敷かれており、ロープウェイや有料道路を通っての火口縁の見学ができません。（徒歩での立ち入りもできません）

ただし、火口周辺約１キロの規制ですので、阿蘇山ロープウェイ出発駅や草千里、烏帽子岳、杵島岳等のジオサイトや阿蘇火山博物館等、観光施設には通常通り行くことができます。(2014年11月25日現在）
噴火時は、火山灰の流向にご注意ください。

海外の書物に記された日本最古の噴火記録を持つ阿蘇は、古くから噴火を繰り返してきました。安全な火山観光のために、常時観測されている火山でもあります。
火口周辺には立ち入れませんが、他にもたくさんの見どころ（ジオサイト）がございます。地球の息吹を感じるようなダイナミック火山「生きている」阿蘇ジオパークを是非お楽しみください。

As of 25 November 2014, the area within 1km from Nakadake crater is off-limits with volcanic warning level 2. Therefore taking the ropeway, the toll road or the path to visit the crater are not allowed. Alternatively Kusasenri-ga-hama, Mt.Eboshidake, Mt.Kishimadake and Aso Volcano Museum are still accessible as usual.

Aso volcano has erupted repeatedly from ancient times. Its significant impact was recorded in a foreign historical book as the Japanese oldest eruption. However the volcano has been known as a popular touristic destination by installing monitoring systems to allow visitors to enjoy the earth’s activity safely.

Although the crater is off-limits at the moment, enjoy our other amazing features have been created by dynamic activity of the earth in Aso Geopark!
